AH LIAN'S EVENTFUL SATURDAY

Once upon a time, there was a girl called Ah Lian. She couldn't make up her mind if she wanted to go down to town to trim her eyebrows or to just stay home to play WoW and then leave direct to a place called Orchid Bowl. However, as she wanted to buy a black Adidas watch, she decided to meet her bowlers in Orchard Road. She brilliantly walked all the way out to the main road when she should have dialled for a cab.

Luckily she got a cab after perspiring and like complaining to her mum about not being able to get a cab. Complaining does work. But, as fate would have it, the cab broke down on the PIE!! The driver told Ah Lian that it was the first time it has happened to him in 5 years. Ah Lian was tempted to tell driver that it was the first time she experienced this in her 27 years of taking cabs.
Driver uncle told Ah Lian that maybe she could try to hail a cab. Ah Lian told driver uncle that that would be close to impossible, coz who stops on the expressway to pick up customers??!! Moreover, how many cabs go on the expressway empty?
True to her usual habits, Ah Lian started taking photos to remember the event by. After all, how often does one get stuck on the expressway like that? Ah Lian was so proud of herself that she remembered to take pictures.

So Ah Lian entertained herself while waiting for driver uncle to finish changing the tyre, which was pretty fast and he was pretty nice.

Fast forward a couple of hours and Ah Lian rushed down to Marina Mandarin to attend her cousin Terence's wedding. As it appears, the emcee was KJ's deejay friend. Found out later that the bride knows KJ too, coz she was from NUS Bizad. Such a small world.

Haven't seen this niece since she was like a year old. She's still so pretty and smiley. Pretty smart too. When Ah Lian was her age, dun think she knew what was herbal chicken and Nadia actually likes herbal chicken!

Newly opened Starbucks Coffee at where the previous Hello! shop used to be. Ah Lian was utterly bored waiting for the arrival of a certain Ms Wu, Ms Teo and Mr Chiam to go karaoke at Party World.

Finally got to sing at the karaoke at about 12mn. Zhang Zheng Yue's 爱我别走 MTV, like Ah Lian should have taken the pic of either Elva and Daniel Wu or the Andy Lau MTV? Oh well.

Jolin in here comforatble and seductive position looking sultry while Yew Koon looks... like Ah Gu alright.

Hmmm.... a mug of beer couldn't have done much to Ah Gu but then again, he's not quite normal jumping on the seats. Maybe he was attempting a Tom Cruise but he's not half as cute leh.... Cute and do funny things = escape but not cute and do weird things = DUH

Went to Crown Prince Hotel's 24h Swensen's but after sitting down, Jolin said she wanted to eat tau huey. Contemplated walking away even though they had served us water already but decided to just order a serving of fries so not so paiseh.

So Ah Lian and friends drove down to Geylang to the 24h tau huey stall. Ordered you char kway, hot soya bean milk, little dragon bun (direct translation). Below u see Koon's sexy lips eating his Taiwanese mee swa and right below Ah Lian's toasted bread with pork floss and egg.
By the time we finished, it was about 520am. Ah Lian took a cab back and like conked out soon after.
