GIVE UP

As of today, I have officially given up on guys.

Whatever I do, they will just find fault. I do something this way, it's like "u very funny". But if I do it another way, then it's like "y u like that one".

It doesn't matter if no guys like me ever. I DUN NEED GUYS AND I DUN WANT THEM.

INTERESTINGLY BORING NOMINATION DAY

Started the day gathering at the branch in tanjong pagar and then taking a charetered bus down to the kolem ayer branch at bendemeer. Met up with supporters from other branches of Tanjong Pagar GRC, as well as those from Jalan Besar GRC.

Then we walked to Bendemeer Primary School contingent by contingent, some wearing t-shirts bearing faces of the various Tanjong Pagar GRC PAP candidates. The guy below is wearing the LKY t-shirt.

Nomination hall was on the 2nd level. Pic above show SDA Candidate Mr Chiam See Tong. Kudos to him. Pic below shows MM Lee arriving, but swarmed by all the photographers and reporters, I couldnt get a clear shot of him.

Short clip below of the MM giving speech in English and Mandarin after Tanjong Pagar came away uncontested.

Mr Chiam after papers were filed and of course, his single ward is being challenged by PAP's Sitoh Yih Pin. Guy in suit on the right of pic is a cameraman from Japanese TV station NHK. Amazing guy, gotta hand it to him. We were sweating like pigs and he was running about all morning in his suit!!! Talk about professionalism.

Interesting end to the event. Never knew that announcements were actually officially made to tell supporters to go and carry their candidates. What a joke!! Always thought it was a spontaneous action. Haha!!

PAP's Potong PAsir candidate Sitoh Yih Pin having a huge support. Of course whether or not the supporters actually come from Potong Pasir is another story altogether. Think half of those supporting Tanjong Pagar GRC don't live anywhere near. All in all an interesting experience. Hopefully the results don't disappoint me.

Oh yes, did I mention that I'm actually gonna be able to vote in this election? MY FIRST VOTE!!!

Went to watch the play "The Magic Fundoshi" by Glen Goei, with Hossan Leong in it. Robin Goh just seems pretty off with his brand of English. Kind of a misfit for the 2nd play. The torii above was so well made that it took me a while to actually realise what the gate was made of. Fantastic!!!

Another post dedicated to yummy looking (and tasting) food. First on the list is the White Pepper Crab from No Signboard Seafood Restaurant.


Below is the Deep Fried Fish from the popular Thai-Chinese restaurant at Sembawang Shopping Centre, can't remember what it's called though. Chilli sizzles when u pour it over the fish. Fantastic.

Above is the Soft Ice Cream on Sweet Potato with Black Sesame Sauce. Below is Black Sesame with Soft Ice Cream (plus Hector's head in the pic, haha!!). New restaurant at Marina Square called Azabusabo. Food variety is not fantastic. The cold ramen is good, though portion size is quite small. Everyone just stands outside the shop ogling at the wax displays of their desserts. Lovely...

Hmmm.... Now I 've got craving for the hiyashi chuka at Azabusabo. Maybe I should pop in there for dinner tomorrow before league and satisfy my craving, plus top it off with dessert... OOOoooooooooo... goooooood ideaaaaa

I have decided, more determined than ever, to hold my piece/peace. It's just not the same anymore. I'm the one who has everything to lose. It's just not worth it. In fact, there's nothing to hold actually. It's not there anymore. It's really about time I put a stop to all this. It's juvenile.

Just got affected again the other night but it's about time things came to an end. I'm juvenile, juvenile, juvenile. Things were great for a while till somebody started all the nonsense. To think that all would have been fine, or so i would have liked it to be.

Anyhows, going for my Macau/HK/China trip later this morning so i'll leave all my problems and troubles and unhappiness and leave it over there. Gonna gorge on food and and indulge in gambling. TOTALLY SINFUL!!

I have yet to pack my bag although it is 2.50am already. Busy battling out in the battlegrounds of WoW. Amazing how just 1 night of non-stop BG can gain u so much honour points. Think this week I'll have my highest ever honour and kills in a week. Not enough to get promoted but I'll definitely not get demoted!! YAHOO!! Cya all in 4 days (unless connection there is decently priced)!!
