IT WAS ALL WORTH IT...
Anyways, I told myself it's not always that we get such people teaching classes, so let's get down and try his final class in Singapore. Woke up at 6 plus and dragged meself to Orchard California Fitness. Mind you, I have not been for my trainers class, originally scheduled at this time slot, for months. When I saw this Caucasian guy walk into class, I was like "This isn't the guy, right? This guy's so cute!!! And unlike the pics posted at the notice board just outside the studio". As it turns out, it was our guest trainer. I started smiling so broadly to myself thinking even if the class was not up to expectations, it was still worth the trip to come see this cute guy teach me for an hour. HHAHAHHA!! The workout was super taxing, esp after my PT session yesterday. Amazing how he gets so many muscle groups in motion at a go. Was dog tired by the end of the hour. He's hopping over to KL this weekend to the California Fitness Centres which have just opened there. Oh y am I not going up to KL this holiday weekend???!?!!! Haiz....
BodyBalance class with Deborah was next, except that Joel taught like a third of the class. Ok, he sucks as a BodyBalance teacher, particularly teaching next to a fantastic instructor like Deborah. My favouritest (Yes, there is now such a word, I dun care) instructor vs my unfavouritest instructor. Eeks!!! Wish he'll just stick to being a personal trainer...

Definitely eye candy

たのしいですね。。。

So, FINALLY we have a good outing, even though it's just against Zone In. OVERKILL in fact, by me and Eugene (Yong). Now he has no handicap and I am left with 5 pins handicap only, less than what half my bowlers have. Me bowled a 575 series tonite, overkilled for first game, but had the selfish thought of going for high series so i didn't let. Was hoping Eugene would let but he didn't. Good for him that he got good games but damaging for handicap definitely. Hope he produces such fantastic scores more often. We need it from him now that he's got no handicap. TZH increased his handicap from 0 to 2. Less than ideal performance from him but at least he won 3 points and got 2 handicap. Haha. KK lost first game coz he missed spare in 10th frame but after that he did well, so no more handicap for him either. All in all, we won 17.5 points. That should bring us up to the first half of the table, and hopefully close the gap a bit on the top teams. A small step at a time. Yeaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!
Sam Goh bowled a 289 in the first game, 10-in-a-row before he left a pin 10. Still Friends are on a high, particularly Sam Goh, whom I must say must be a morale booster for the team. They pretty much thrashed Thunderstorm, and though KT bowled well he still lost his points. But losing to good bowler who bowls well is nothing to feel bad about.
Hope the following weeks will be just as good for us, if not better.
がんばりましょう!

THE UNIVERSAL QUESTION: WHY?
Things have been happening as of late (shall not elaborate), which gets me thinking, WHY?
- WHY is there illnesses?
- WHY is there life and death?
- WHY is there happiness and sadness?
- WHY do we do what we do?
- WHY do we need friendship and love?
OK, the list could go on forever. I did something and then after that I thought about it.
- Did I do it because I wanted to do it?
- Or because I kinda hafta do it?
- Or perhaps it was to make myself feel better, like I had done my part?
- Or even because it was to ensure that no one else gets hurt in the unlikely event that something should happen?
Maybe I think too much (comes with the acceleration of brain neurons when you try to keep your mind active when it really doesn't have much to think about). It could have been a simple thing that I wanted everyone to be happy. Then again, was I being selfish rather than helpful?
Why can't everyone live happily together? Why can't people be happy for others? Why do people find joy in quarrelling with others, and making other people's lives miserable? Where's the thrill in that? We dun appreciate things/people till they are gone. It's always easier said than done.

HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE, THE MOVIE

Brilliant film by Hayao Miyazaki!!! Have always heard raves about his previous films like Spirited Away but never watched any before. Glad i caught this one!!! Gonna buy the book written by Diane Wynne Jones. Might buy the comic book which uses pictures from the movie itself. The characters are all so kawaii (dun mind the cliche)!!! A must-see definitely. Next thing up: all his previous animation films!
